BMC Building

The BMC (Brihnmumbai Municipal Corporation ) building is situated opposite of Chatrapati Shivaji terminus.

It is also known as Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. It is India’s richest municipal corporation. The foundation stone of this building was laid on December 9, 1884 and the construction was completed in 1893.

Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus

Chatrapati Shivaji terminus was built in 1888. It was designed by Frederick William Stevens. It was known as Victoria Terminus , but in 1996 it was renamed as Chatrapati Shivaji terminus.

It is declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Sight.

It is built using Neo- Gothic style Architecture.
